Try the Michelada


After seeing the thread on Budweiser Chelada, I thought I’d try one at the Mexican place by my work on my lunch break. It was lots of squeezed lime, worchester sauce, hot sauce and beer in a salted-rimmed glass. (No Clamato.) It was pretty good, but I think I could only stand one, because it took me most of my meal to sip it down. It was more food-like, than refreshing-beverage-like. I chose Dos Equis for the beer. It paired very well with the two lengua tacos I had.

I liked it, but I’m not sure I’m ready for Budweiser’s version quite yet but did a great job. I don’t know which is worse about it clam juice or the Budweiser itself.
